CPD Opportunities

FE Research Circle

The #FEresearchCircle (formally known as the practitioner action research network led by PDN) hosted by Dr Vicky Butterby and Chloë Hynes. The aim of the FE Research Circle is to provide a supportive space for anyone who is interested or involved in practitioner led research to come and talk about their work and learn from others too. Each month we will explore different aspects of research in FE and post-16 learning, as we come together to grow and develop our research community. Everybody is welcome to attend these sessions (no research experience necessary) and please feel free to bring your lunch too.

Sessions will be held on the last Wednesday of each month, from 12-1.30pm (please note the research circle does not run in December, July or August).

First session: October 27th @ 12noon

OTLA 8 Practitioner Research Showcase

To the right you’ll see a graphic that illustrates a sample of the different journals, blogs, podcasts and websites you could choose to submit your work to. To help you choose the platform that is right for you, have a look at this Wakelet which details brief summaries of each including: subject matter, audience, format, word count and submission details. Note that opportunities to share your work are increasing all the time and as such, view the collection as a live and growing asset.

Feel free to share your publishings on the showcase Padlet below and we can all help amplify each others work.
