Project Leadership

Our project leadership involves designing, implementing and quality-assuring initiatives in diverse sectors from education and training, to TV and film, prison education teams and other public and private bodies. Examples of our work include:

  • ‘OTLA’, a national programme of action research for educators, which supported hundreds of teachers, trainers and support personnel each year to do research in post-16 learning communities (2014 – 2022).
  • National professional development programmes in maths, English and digital learning for the college and training sector (for ETF, 2014 – 2021). Working with maths, English and digital literacies specialists, we wrote 74 course programmes, led 716 courses, and reached 10,436 participants. Find out more by visiting the project information page.

Many of the programmes we lead / co-lead have inclusive practices at their core. For example, we developed an online learning programme for post-16 learning educators and trainers f0cussing on equity and diversity. It is still in use and, in its first year (between Sept 2021 and Out 2022) it was completed by 5,500 practitioners working in colleges and adult learning settings.
