Project Leadership

We run national development programmes in the education and training sector, for TV and film companies, for prison education teams and many other varied public and private sector bodies. Examples of our work include ‘OTLA’, a national programme of action research for educators, which supported many hundred of teachers, trainers and support personnel each year to do research in and for post-16 learning communities. We collated an anthology of their (and our) work between 2014 and 2022, which can be read here.

Between 2014 and 2021, we supported the Education and Training Foundation to design and lead national programmes in maths, English and digital learning professional development for the English Education and Training sector. Working with a large team of maths, English and digital literacies specialists, between 2017 and 2021 we wrote 74 course programmes, led 716 courses reaching 10,436 attending participants, with exceptional quality and care. This is testimony to the scale and quality of our work. More details about our this work here.

Many of the programmes we lead or help to lead have inclusive practices at their core. For example, we developed an online learning programme for post-16 learning educators and trainers f0cussing on equity and diversity. It is still in use and, in its first year (between Sept 2021 and Out 2022) it was completed by 5,500 practitioners.
