Educating Yourself In Prison: An Inside Job

Our film aimed at helping prison inductees new into the regime, to give them some hope and to help them see how valuable education can be on their journey.

Developed in collaboration with Jason Turner (Director of iSore Media), Zack Haider (Community Development Director of Intuitive Thinking Skills), and Marie-Claire O’Brien (CEO and Founder of The New Leaf Initiative). This resource was produced on behalf of the Education and Training Foundation.

This film was made for the specific purpose of engaging and inspiring serving prisoners in the UK to access education. The secondary reason was to show anyone within the criminal justice services that change is possible and is achievable once goals set and worked towards.  Our film is also aimed at helping prison inductees new into the regime, to give them some hope and to help them see how valuable education can be on their journey.
